Conducting Fun!

In February 2024 I had the great joy of conducting the Osceola County All County Choir and then the very next week, conduct the Seminole County All County Orff Ensemble! Both groups were so well prepared by their amazing teachers and I had such a fabulous time working with all of the students!

I had the joy of presenting with my Aunt Artie Almeida at the Florida Music Educators Association Conference 2024! We did some fabulous movement lessons that were perfect for the classroom and the stage! Many props were used including, scarves, ribbons, pool noodle swords, bouncy balls, gloves and stretchy bands! Many were partner lessons, but could also be transferred for students to perform individually! Many lessons were done in blacklight, but can also be done with no blacklight! So many choices!

FEMEA Central Regional All State Choir

I had the great pleasure of conducting the All State Central Regional Choir in October 2022. It was incredible to watch these talented students learn three pieces of music in one day, memorize them, and sing them beautifully and perform them with professionalism at the end of the day! I make a ton of weird faces when I conduct!

I loved doing my first solo virtual clinic with the North Florida Orff Chapter in September! Looking forward to 2 more virtual clinics for TMEA and the South Carolina Foothills Orff Chapter coming in the spring!

One of my favorite things is sharing! I have been very blessed to be able to share my ideas and love of music with not only teachers around the country, but many students in a variety of counties around the state of Florida.

I had the great pleasure of opening up Central Florida Orff Chapters season in 2019! Poems, Props and Play was a fun clinic with lots of creativity!!

I really enjoyed conducting the Brevard County All County Choir in 2019! A parent got these great shots during the practices and concert!

In March 2020, I had the great pleasure of conducting the Lee County Elementary Honors Choir. The students were so incredibly prepared, and the concert was an amazing celebration of the students of Lee County and their beautiful music!
